Independiente goleó 3-0 a Godoy Cruz de Mendoza, en un partido correspondiente a los octavos de final de la Copa Argentina, disputado este miércoles en el Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes, y avanzó a los cuartos de final del torneo.
Los goles para «El Rojo” los convirtieron Santiago Montiel a los 12 minutos, Santiago López a los 29 minutos y Diego Tarzia a los 43 minutos del segundo tiempo.
Los dirigidos por Julio Vaccari, venían de igualar sin goles el clásico ante Racing en un encuentro que tuvo que disputar más de una hora con un jugador menos, por la duodécima fecha de la Liga Profesional de Fútbol.
Los mendocinos, por su parte, también empataron ante Lanús por 1-1 en la liga.
El encuentro se llevó a cabo en el estadio Mario Alberto Kempes y el árbitro fue Pablo Echavarría
